For my series this semester, I decided to create photos inspired by Idriss Khan. His photos are of architecture and they are taken in a way that makes them look blurry and makes the observer dizzy. While creating my photos, I chose different building and took multiple pictures of the building from different angles and then I edited and overlayed them on top of one another, in hopes of creating the same effect as Khan. The hardest part for me was editing the photos so they had layers but it wasn't entirely obvious.
I love how blurred yet clear these photos were. I think you adding the black and white filter into it adds a lot and makes this post very cohesive. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI think these are awesome! I especially liked the last photo, and I feel that you accomplished your goal in making your images look blurry, making the observer dizzy. I also like the addition of black and white. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cool project. I think you should try to do more like the second photo; I feel like it gives it a more raw, especially dizzy feel. Good work!
ReplyDeleteThese are really cool. All of them have the feeling like their moving but they aren't which is awesome. I think the last photo could've given me a little more depth, but other than that, great job!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are great! I really like your last photo because there is a lot of contrast between the darks and lights. In the future, you should continue to incorporate this stark contrast (especially for photos like your second one).
ReplyDeleteI really like these photos because they give off a sense of hysteria. It may be cool, but probably ineffective, if you tried to get the same photos but did it through a motion blur with a longer exposure. May be fun to test it out. I also like how the black and white filter makes your photos seem timeless. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThese are really cool. It has that layer effect.
