Multi-frame Storytelling

This week we focused on multi-frame storytelling and conveying some sort of message or story through multiple images. As I created my images I took photos that I thought would go well together and would be able to tell some sort of story. When editing my photos I chose to use either two or three photos per collage and edited most of them in black and white. I used different moods, ranging from sadness to hope.

  1. These are too good! i think you did a create job at incorporating different feelings in your work and the dash of color worked really nicely. Great work

  2. I really like these because I feel like each story has conflicting themes such as the themes you suggested like between sadness and hope. You were able to execute this through your use of filters and color. Great job

  4. These are all so good because the subjects in the different frames seem to be interacting with each other. Especially with the way you have placed the people to look at/ react to a different picture is almost like a comic book (which is a good thing!). Each one of your collages also evokes a different emotion.

  7. WOW!!!! I really LOVE the picture within a picture because one side was in color and the other was in black and white, exemplifying the perspective aspect of this assignment. I think your use of color helped create stronger pieces in certain pictures. I really enjoyed viewing your work. GREAT job!

  8. I like the use of people, my only suggestion is that the last photo seems a little out of place.
