Symmetry:
Symmetry is when a photo is almost identical on the same side. If the photo were to be cut in half, then the image would be almost an exact replica. For these photos, I chose to look at a lot of architecture.
Asymmetry:
Asymmetry is similar to symmetry however the objects have a different weight and/or size. Some of my photos are in color because I felt that it would better demonstrate the differences in weight and size.
Balance:
Balance is similar to both asymmetry and symmetry in the sense that the objects could be the same or similar in shape but have different weight. I chose to edit my photos using color because I thought it extenuated the different weights of the objects.
I really liked all your photos. I think that your fourth photo for symmetry might be asymmetrical because of the posters, but other than you did a really job
ReplyDeletei think your strongest section was your balance section because each photo was really different which helped make your post move very nicely. I think my favorite photo was the one with the person and the sun. you did amazing overall, great job!
ReplyDeleteI like your balance photos, my only suggestion is that the 4th symmetry photo looks more like balance and your first balance photo looks like asymmetry, but it's still a cool photo
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed these. I love how you found really creative ways to meet the criteria for each category. I have no suggestions.
ReplyDeleteI thought your Symmetry composition was quite good. I love the editing on all the photos, I thought they were unique. Good job
ReplyDeleteI really like your balance composition because you expressed the composition through many subjects. The only suggestion is for the 4th symmetrical photo, as the amount of papers on each side of the doors doesn't make the photo symmetrical.
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you edited your photos to make them seem soft and polished. My favorite photo is the second photo in your symmetry series because of the way you have set up your lights and darks.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you photographed symmetry. I especially love the third photo. The angle of your photo is really interesting and it shows great symmetry. Great Job .
